Entry 1
Time: 7:00am
Setting: My Bedroom
Description of the Light: The light that I have just woke up to is quite bright to me, simply because I just woke up. There are few clouds, however the essence of smoke still lingers in the air giving the light shining into my room through three large windows and hazy feel.
Entry 2
Time: 11:00am
Setting: Mr. Winchell’s Classroom
Description of the Light: Most of the light in the room is completely natural, and very bright light coming through the large windows on one side of the classroom. If I try to look towards the windows, I can’t make out anybodys’ faces because my eye is adjusting to the harsh light coming from the outside
Entry 3
Time: 3:30pm
Setting: My Kitchen, Inside
Description of the Light: It is partly cloudy, so the natural light has more of a grey feel to it, but the two large fluorescent light hanging from the ceiling lighten the mood by creating harsher shadows and an overall brighter feeling
Entry 4
Time: 10:00pm
Setting: My room, inside
Description of the Light: The single light hanging from my ceiling in my room lights up the entire room, seeing as it is dark outside. The light is bright, and isn’t helping my tired emotion

Entry 2
Time: 7:30pm

Description of the Light: The sun is down for the most part, so there is minimal natural light. Even so, the multiple, large, fluorescent lights completely overpower the sunlight and creats multiple shadows for a single subject
Entry 3
Time: 8:30pm
Setting: My Car, Inside
Description of the Light: The light coming from the single dome light in my car proves to be a very weak light, hardly helping the fact that we can’t figure out where copious amounts of blood is coming from
Entry 4
Time: 11:35pm
Setting: My front yard, Outside
Description of the Light: There is virtually zero light, except for the small amount of a greying glow coming from the small, cloud hidden moon. We all talked softly, as if the absence of light had had an effect on us.

Entry 1
Time: 9:00am
Setting: My bedroom, inside
Description of the Light: All of the light seeping thorugh my windows is natural light, however the smoke is the worst that I have ever seen, so much so that it even felt smokey INSIDE my room. This said the light once again feels hazy and overcast
Entry 2
Time: 2:45pm
Setting: My car, halfway to Lewiston, inside
Description of the Light: The smoke has begun to clear, so the sunlight has become much harsher, outside the car that is. Due to the heavily tinted windows on our car, there are very few shadows amongst us inside the car.
Entry 3
Time: 6:45pm
Setting: a park in Lewiston, outside
Description of the Light: After being so smokey, the air was relatively clear due to a windy day and lots of rain in the valley, which made the sunlight crisp as it came tumbling through a tree onto our group of friends. The light is still very orange compared to normal, becaue the wind and rain didn’t completely knock out the smoke in the air.
Entry 4
Time: 11:15pm
Setting: My front yard, outside
Description of the Light: Although it is night, my surroundings are still relatively well lit thanks to the almost full moon. Everything seems more blue than usual, and the occasional cloud will roll in front of the moon, darkening the mood
Sunday, August 30, 2015
Entry 1
Time: 7:00am
Setting: My bedroom, inside
Description of the Light: Because I slept with all of my blinds shut, my room is very dim even though it is a mostly sunny day outside, however there are a few clouds. The light inside the room is seeping through the edges of each of my blinds, and is spotlighting streaks of my room. Because of the clouds outside however, this light is more solemn than usual.
Entry 2
Time: 10:15am,
Setting:Church, Inside
Description of the Light: The curtains are closed in this large room, blocking all natural light. However the orange and blue lights that are lighting the stage are reflecting off the walls into the crowd so that each persons faces are lit.

Description of the Light: The sun is still up, but it is partly cloudy, making the light not nearly as harsh as it normally would be, softening the shadows as well.
Entry 4
Time: 9:00pm
Setting: Parking Lot, Outside

Monday, August 31, 2015
Entry 1
Time: 7:00am
Setting: Bedroom, Inside
Description of the Light: Only one of my three windows is open so that sunlight can come in, and this is the first time that I noticed how dark two parts of my room stay even with one window wide open. The natural light doesn’t light up two corners like it does the middle of the room, creating much softer shadows in these areas.
Entry 2
Time: 7:55am
Setting: School Parking Lot, Outside
Description of the Light: It is partly cloudy outside, yet the parking lot is still very well lit, and there are harsh shadows coming off of every object. The reflection from the sun bounces off each car in a blinding manner. With the sun so bright, the mood is noticeably happier
Entry 3
Time: 12:30
Setting: PHS Cafeteria, Inside
Description of the Light: There is plenty of natural light coming in from the large windows behind me, but surprisingly few shadows are being cast from this natural light. The light helps the mood stay upbeat around my friends and I.
Entry 4
Time: 9:00pm
Setting: Den, Inside
Description of the Light:There is no natural light coming from outside because it is dark, however the bulb light from the ceiling and wall does an ample job of lighting the room, creating multiple shadows for each subject due to the location of each of the orangish lights around the room

Setting: My Bedroom, Inside
Description of the Light: Both my desk lamp, and my ceiling fan light are on, however my desk is much brighter compared to the rest of my room because of how close the lamp is to my desk. Entry 2
Time: 3:00pm
Setting: Outside PHS, Outside
Description of the Light: It is still partly overcast, and cooler than it has been, so with the damp light and the brisk air, the mood that is set by my surroundings is solemn, yet has a sense of hurriedness. The shadows become less harsh as the sun is blocked by drifting clouds, and for some reason, the parking lots lights are on at the moment. This light does not contribute to the overall luminosity, but prove to catch the eye.
Entry 3
Time: 7:00pm
Setting: My Kitchen, Inside
Description of the Light: It is mostly dark outside, but we have to large lamps hanging from the ceiling that light the room as we eat dinner. Entry 4
Time: 10:00pm
Setting: My Front Porch, Outside
Description of the Light: Looking out, the street is mostly dark, but are porch is well lit from the lights on the outside of the house, as well as by the light coming from the kitchen.
